Anyone not currently enrolled at Cypress Academy may participate in a free trial class. There is no obligation with a free trial and it will give you and your child a chance to see our facility, our instructors, and how a class operates. By taking a free trial class, your child’s spot in that class is reserved, so we recommend that you choose a class with days and times that are convenient for your schedule, should you decide for your child to continue with the class.

Make up classes

We offer make-up classes for any missed class. Tuition is not pro-rated because of missed classes.

MAKE-UP CLASSES ARE OFFERED BY RESERVATION ONLY.  Any class change must be done through the office.  This may be done by phone and must be prior to any change taking place.  Make-ups must be completed while the child is actively enrolled in the program.

Registration

There is an annual registration fee of $30.00.  Registration is valid for one year and runs from August through July.  The registration fee reserves your child's place in class and includes a T-shirt.  For an additional $5.00 your child may choose a leotard instead of a T-shirt.

Students who register between January and May will pay a registration fee of $30.00.  In August, the re-registration fee will be only $15.00, with no T-shirt / leotard option.

Students who register in June or July will pay a registration fee of $30.00 and when re-registering for our any of our Fall Programs that start in August, you will not be required to pay another registration fee. if a student withdraws in "good standing", their registration is valid until the following August.

Tuition

TUITION IS BASED ON THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE FOUND ON THE CLASS SCHEDULE.  Tuition is pro-rated only when a new student begins a class after the first of the month.  A student must be current with their account in order to re-register or participated in extra activities (i.e. Mayfest, Parents' Night Out, birthday parties, musicals, recital, etc.)

The CYPRESS ACADEMY OFFICE must receive a full 2 weeks notice of your intention to withdraw your child from the program.  This withdrawal notice is completed by filling out the final line of the registration card (NO PHONE CALLS, LETTERS, OR FAXES).  You will owe tuition for two weeks following the week in which you give notice.

Tuition checks, with the STUDENT'S FULL NAME written in the memo area of the check, should be placed in the Tuition Box next to the office door.  DO NO PUT CASH IN THE TUITION BOX!!!

Registration and tuition are non-refundable.

Recital Fee & Costume Fee

The recital fee is due with November's tuition.  If you have more than one child participating in the recital, the additional children receive a $10.00 discount off the regular recital fee.

The costume fee is due with December's tuition.  Please be aware, costumes cannot be ordered until the student is sized and the costume fee has been paid.

In order to keep costs down, the costumes we order are mass produced.  They are not individually fitted for each child.  Therefore, alterations may be required and are the responsibility of the parent.

Holidays

The studio is closed on Labor Day, Thanksgiving week, Christmas week, New Year's Day, Good Friday thru Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, and Fourth Of July weekend.  The week between Christmas and New Year's is not made up.

FULL TUITION IS DUE EVERY MONTH, including holiday months.  There is no extra charge for the months with five weeks, so it balances out over the year.

ALL STUDENTS ARE INSTRUCTED TO WAIT INSIDE THE BUILDING FOR THEIR RIDE.
