Andrea Hunsucker - Mom & Me and Pre-School Director
Andrea Hunsucker began working with Cypress Academy in 2000 and became the Mom & me and
Pre-School Director in 2004. Andrea creates all of our Mom & me and Pre-School
curriculum, keeping it fun and progressive. Her knowledge of child development
and gymnastics helps our pre-schoolers to excel in flexibility, strength,
coordination, and mobility. Andrea coaches with the idea that a child
who is not having fun while learning will not come back. |

Tom Meadows - Boys Competitive Program Director
Tom Meadows began working with Cypress Academy 1995 and became the Boys Competitive
Director in 2001. Tom attended the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of the 1991 National
Championship Team and won two Big 8 titles on Still Rings and All-American status on Floor
Exercise. Tom is a member of the Junior National Staff, a two time Texas Coach of the Year, and
a recipient of the Robert Cowan Award. Tom brings a great balance of intensity and fun into the
gym, constantly keeping a great perspective on the role that competitive gymnastics plays in the lives
of his gymnasts. |

Shawn Moreno - Boys Developmental Program Director
Shawn began working with Cypress Academy in 1998 and became the Boys Developmental
Director in 2002. He started at Cypress Academy as an eager High School Junior. Falling in love with
the sport and the children, he has decided to pursue gymnastics as his career. Shawn works
with our competitive program and creates our curriculum. Shawn's passion and enthusiasm is
contagious not only to his co-workers, but also to the children that he teaches. |

Kelly Stewart - Girls Developmental Program Director
Kelly Stewart began working with Cypress Academy in 1998 and becam the Girls Developmental
Director in 2003. Kelly has been coaching for 14 years and finished her gymnastic career at Round Rock High
School. Kelly received her college degree from Sam Houston State University, and after a brief stint
in journalism, could not resist her true passion: children. Kelly's expectation level for herself
and her staff are high. That, combined with her love for the sport and the children she coaches,
makes Kelly an integral part of Cypress Academy. |

Terry Walker - Girls Competitive Program Director
Terry Walker began his career in coaching in 1983 and has coached gymnasts at the national and
international level since 1987. A coach of two former Olympians, Terry coached with Cypress
Academy from 1988 to 1995. He returned to Cypress with his beautiful wife, Tamara, in May of 2003 and
became the Competitive Girls Director in 2004. |
